Meeting Slated
The third meeting of GBA's
Compliance Peer
Group is scheduled for Tuesday, March 13 at the
Ramada Plaza Hotel in Macon.
The topic of this quarter's Peer Group Meeting is training session
is
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. HMDA – A Tale of Interpretation.
Sarah
Draut and William S. Pitt, Principals with Credit &
Compliance Financial Resources, Inc. in Fayetteville, GA will lead
the session.
Sarah
and Bill will cover who is subject to the HMDA regulation, what
applications are reportable, a review of each of the fields that are
to be recorded on the Loan Application Register (LAR), some different
interpretations of key areas that they have seen, and will discuss
common (and some not-so-common) violations. Participants will receive
a HMDA data collection form with instructions.
However, most of the time
at the meeting will be reserved for peer group discussion.
Pre-registration is
required to attend and the cost to participate is only $30 per person.
