The school is an intensive, one-week, specialized school that exposes students to the major issues commercial loan officers face. The school is designed to:

  • Increase students' knowledge of the economy and business structure and how these affect lending decisions.
  • Develop students' understanding of the role of a company's management and how to analyze and evaluate management.
  • Develop students' understanding of basic and advanced analytical techniques and how to apply these techniques in pricing and structuring loans.
  • Develop students' understanding of how problem loans develop and the appropriate techniques to use in managing these loans.
  • Develop students' understanding of relationship banking and how to meet the multiple financial needs of customers.
