Individual with a strong financial or commercial lending background to support the portfolio management needs of a commercial banker(s).  The position is responsible for assisting the commercial banker(s) with client/prospect calling activities, underwriting commercial loan requests,  assist in gathering financial information from borrowers/prospects,  preparing various reports and other administrative activities as needed, in order to manage the assigned commercial bankers loan portfolio.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE: 
Proactively manage maturing loans for renewal, past due reports, borrower financial reporting requirements, and monitoring and calculation of borrowing base reports.  Participate in joint and individual client/prospect calling efforts.  Perform credit analysis, including creating and analyzing financial spreads, for proposed credit requests.  Monitor specific loan portfolios on a monthly and quarterly basis for various concentrations.  Produce various reports that are shared with Executive Management and the Board of Directors. Participate and present in the weekly Director’s Loan Committee meeting on behalf of the lender.  Assist in the facilitation of the appraisal ordering and review process.  Monitor and maintain various forms and reports used by credit administration and commercial lending staff.  Remain well informed of current and proposed banking regulations.  Maintain a detailed understanding of the KeyWorth Bank general loan policy, associated bank procedures, desired loan types and risk tolerance of the Bank.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.  Excellent time management, organizational and written communication skills.  Three to five years prior banking experience with an emphasis on credit administration or commercial lending.  Detailed knowledge of the commercial lending process including strong understanding of personal and  corporate tax returns and financial statements
