HW2927 Director of Business Development
The Middle Georgia Regional Commission is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Director of Business Development. The position is responsible for the operation and management of loan programs, including the SBA 504/7A, and four revolving loan funds, with the ultimate goal of job creation and retention in order to grow the regionís economy. The Director of Business Development is also responsible for the operations of the Georgia Small Business Lenders, Inc. (GSBL) Board, a certified development corporation created in 1983, which contracts with the Regional Commission for program management and administration. Essential duties and responsibilities are: loan generation, underwriting, processing and servicing loans approved by the GSBL Board of Directors. The Director of Business Development should, at a minimum, have a Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance or Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university (Masterís degree preferred) or three to four years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. HW2926 Commercial Lender
Local commercial community bank has an opening for a junior lender. The position is designed to develop the successful candidate into a commercial small business lender. Based in North Fulton, position will serve as assistant to North Fulton Regional Executive (NFRE). Will work with the NFRE to acquire new and service existing clients interested in commercial and commercial real estate loans as well as assist in the servicing of closed loans.
Will be expected to develop ability to understand credit risk and analyze key financial components of prospective customers. Ensure files are up to date and exceptions resolved in a timely manner.

Credit Administration Specialist:
Specific responsibilities will include technical and administrative support for the Chief Credit Officer and management of appraisal ordering and review, preparation and analysis of spreadsheets and reports, and loan collections. Additional responsibilities may include credit underwriting for commercial loans. This position will require professional oral and written communication skills, a keen attention to detail, good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and a high level of proficiency with various computer applications including Excel and Word. This position does not include supervisory responsibilities. We are seeking candidates with previous banking experience preferably in the areas of appraisal management or collections.
