Letter-writing Campaign ContinuesTake Action
The effort to have as many letters generated to Congress continues in order to stop the Credit Unions' so-called regulatory relief bill.  As a reminder, this legislation would increase their commercial lending authority while reducing their capital requirements.  From the chart below, you will see that 2,108 letters have been written to the Georgia Congressional Delegation toward our overall goal of 2,990 letters.  Thanks to everyone who has responded to this important request.  Just think of the impact if you and everyone in your bank were to have a letter generated by clicking on the Action Alert.  Following the simple prompts, your letter will be on its way in seconds.  The banking industry can make a difference and it's time everyone let their member of Congress know just how serious we are about this issue.  With questions, please call GBA’s Elizabeth Chandler at (404) 420-2027.
