Supervisory responsibility of overseeing all cash and security transfers associated with new accounts and accounts that may be terminating.
SUPERVISE THE FOLLOWING DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Initiation of cash and securities transfers from previous trustee for new accounts
  • Initiation of  securities transfers to successor trustee for terminating accounts
  • Daily review of the system reports to verify status of asset movement and security positions at DTC
  • Adjustments to registration codes to reflect the appropriate location and status of assets
  • Post cash and securities transactions to accounts on SUNGARD/Addvantage system
  • Post and monitor account transfers submitted via ACATS
  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing institution conversions.
  • Preparation of daily and/or monthly volume reports for management (MCRP)
  • Update and maintain Transfer Log on a monthly basis
  • Perform periodic follow-up on outstanding transfers every 7 to 10 business days
  • Ensure files are organized and written documentation is retained on transfers
  • Initiate action to resolve any discrepancies with transfers
  • Interview and assist in hiring practice
  • Provide continued training for team
  • Assist in developing policies/procedures to ensure that control measures provide accurate, timely, and quality service.
