Leadership Conference

The annual GBA Leadership Conference is the premier event for emerging executives from all disciplines within GBA's membership. Planned by the Leadership GBA Board of Directors, the conference touches on economic trends, skill sessions in bank strategy development, leadership best practices, government and regulatory relations and more. It's also designed to help members develop strong bonds with their peers and families for the benefit of Georgia's community of bankers. Don't miss this exciting, informative and fun conference.

Registration Price and How to Register

The GBA member banker, exhibitor representative, and associate member registration package is $575/pp through June 15 (add $50/pp after that date) and includes all conference sessions and materials; Monday Welcome Reception and Buffet Dinner; Tuesday and Wednesday Breakfasts; Wednesday Reception and Burger Bash Dinner; and daily breaks. The Spouse/Guest registration package is $215/pp through June 15 (add $50 after that date) and includes the Monday Welcome Reception and Buffet Dinner and the Wednesday Reception and Burger Bash Dinner. Both evening events are family friendly, and event-only registration is available for children of all ages. A golf outing is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon and is at an additional cost.

Hotel Information

About the Resort: GBA is excited to host our 2020 Leadership Conference once again at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, near Jacksonville FL. Since the Inn & Club celebrated its opening in 1928, this 300-acre oceanfront resort in Ponte Vedra Beach has been a perfect refuge for recreation and relaxation. Just steps from the ocean, the resort offers two picturesque 18-hole golf courses, each with its own distinct seaside links flavor; a racquet club containing 15 Har Tru tennis courts, four pools and an award-winning spa that’s the perfect haven for relaxation and reflection. Ideal for families, there will most certainly be an activity for your enjoyment.

GBA Room Rates and Reservations: The conference block includes rooms in the Historic Inn and Island House at the nightly discounted rate of $229, and Deluxe Oceanside rooms for $249/night. The Historic Inn (main resort) building, originally opened in 1937, has been restored to its original grandeur. Featuring the finest in stylish decor, Historic Inn rooms provide especially convenient access to the hotels dining and shopping venues. Available with two queen beds, Island View rooms provide dramatic views of the Ocean Course's island 9th hole, and feature custom furnishings and décor. Deluxe Oceanside rooms offer views of the Atlantic Ocean featuring a private balcony or patio with one king or two queen beds. The resort does have other room types; feel free to inquire with reservations.

There is a negotiated resort fee of $24 per room per night, which includes wi-fi, coffee maker, use of fitness center; parking; and twice daily maid service. HOTEL DEADLINE: The cut-off date for reservations is Thursday, June 18, 2020, and rooms may sell out before this date. After this date, all reservations will be subject to prevailing rate and space availability.
