The Security Committee promotes the importance of bank security within the industry, assesses security education, training and information needs of member banks, reviews legislative and regulatory proposals at the state and federal level for security concerns and recommends products and services to the GBA membership, such as the Thumbprint Signature Program. The committee assists in the development and promotion of the GBA Security Conference and other security educational programs.
