Q: As GBA members meet you or talk to you for the first time, what can they expect from you?
A: Our members can expect to be greeted with a smile and genuine hospitality that will make them feel welcomed every time they walk or call into GBA. I will be committed to helping our members cultivate the skills they need to flourish in their careers. My goal is to assist with the growth of the association and the banking community. I am so looking forward to meeting and building rapport with all of our members.

Q: Who is someone that has influenced your chosen career path?
A: My parents have had a tremendous influence on me when it comes to choosing a profession. My dad served in the U.S Army for 30 years and taught me to have passion, discipline, leadership and resilience in everything that I do. My mother taught me to serve others with a pure heart. Both of my parents taught me to be humble (but lead by example) and that I could do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

Q: What might someone be surprised to learn about you?
A: I am in the process of writing my first book. It will encourage women to embrace their personal journey of obstacles and triumphs because life is like an art canvas, and each experience is a stroke of color that will eventually paint a beautiful masterpiece. I am a creative writer and allow my imagination to run wild through poetry, plays and memoirs.

Q: When you’re not on the job at GBA, what do you like to do?
A: In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, including my four-year-old Pitbull, Blaze. I enjoy going to church activities, traveling, trying new foods because I am a foodie and experiencing new adventures such as sky diving and new roller coasters.

Q: What has been your favorite travel destination, and why?
A: My favorite travel destination so far has been Costa Rica. The countryside landscape is gorgeous. I love the beautiful rainforest, and the warm beach water is crystal clear. The culture and people are welcoming, and the food is authentically amazing!
